In Friday's league outing, the Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds (Guy, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Scranton Rockets (Scranton, AR), by a count of 54-23.

The Thunderbirds (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Augusta (Augusta, AR). The Red Devils go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record.

The Rockets now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Arkansas School for the Deaf for a 1A Region 4 outing on Tuesday, December 6.
