The Person Rockets basketball team (Roxboro, NC), was nudged 46-44 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA)

The Comets now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern Durham for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 6. Halifax County will battle a Knights team coming off a 39-37 non-league win over Voyager (Durham, NC). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.

The Rockets (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Granville Central (Stem, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Granville Central edged Bunn (Bunn, NC), 51-43, in a non-league battle.
