The Hicks Pirates basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Pitkin Tigers to 47 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evans for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Hicks will battle a Eagles team coming off a 69-57 non-league loss to Pitkin (Pitkin, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
The Tigers (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Pine Prairie was defeated by Rapides (Lecompte, LA), 35-16, in a non-league contest.
