Ravenna Bulldogs (Ravenna, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Holton Red Devils (Holton, MI), 43-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ravenna upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Shelby (Shelby, MI) to play the Tigers in a Western Michigan bout on Thursday, December 8. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Red Devils play the Oakridge Eagles (Muskegon, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Holton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 59-40 league loss to Manistee (Manistee, MI).
