Hooker Bulldogs (Hooker, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Texhoma Red Devils (Texhoma, OK), 45-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hooker upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Mooreland (Mooreland, OK) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Bearcats come into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Red Devils play the Turpin Cardinals (Turpin, OK) in a Panhandle Six bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Texhoma will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
