Hundred Hornets (Hundred, WV) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Turkeyfoot Valley Area Rams (Confluence, PA), 46-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hundred upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Paden City (Paden City, WV) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Rams play the Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Turkeyfoot Valley Area will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 46-35 non-league win over Johnstown Christian (Hollsopple, PA).
