The Lyford Bulldogs basketball team scored 70 points and held the host IDEA Riverview Rockets to 17 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Raymondville for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Lyford will meet a Bearkats team coming off a 88-27 non-league loss to Harvest Christian (Edinburg, TX). The Bearkats record now stands at 1-3.

The Rockets (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Progreso (Progreso, TX). The Red Ants enter the 3A Region IV District 32 contest with a 7-5 record.
