Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors (Fort Oglethorpe, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad trounce the host LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA), 80-34 in a league battle.
The Warriors now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denmark for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 3. Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe will confront a team coming off a 42-33 non-league loss to Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The record now stands at 3-5.
The Ramblers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA). The Colts come into the AAA Region 6 battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Coahulla Creek trounced Bremen (Bremen, GA), 60-37, in a league battle.
