Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lakeview Lakers (Cottonwood, MN), 60-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Knights host Edgerton (Edgerton, MN) to play the Flying Dutchmen in a A Section 3 bout on Monday, December 19. The Flying Dutchmen go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Lakers play the MACCRAY Wolverines (Clara City, MN) in a A Section 3 bout, on Monday, January 9. Lakeview will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
