The Lincoln Railsplitters basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Mattoon Greenwave to 32 in the Railsplitters league triumph on Friday.

The Railsplitters now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rantoul for a non-league contest on Monday, December 5. Lincoln will meet a Eagles team coming off a 50-21 non-league loss to Oakwood (Fithian, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.

The Greenwave (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Effingham (Effingham, IL). The Flaming Hearts enter the Apollo contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Effingham triumphed over North Clay/Clay City (Louisville, IL), 49-36, in a non-league contest.
