Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC), 61-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Montgomery Central upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Mount Pleasant won 40-13 in their recent non-league bout against Concord (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Southern Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Aviators go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 71-11 non-league loss to Scotland Christian Academy (Laurinburg, NC).
