In Friday's league outing, the Northwood-Kensett Vikings (Northwood, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Nashua-Plainfield Huskies (Nashua, IA), by a margin of 48-20.
The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against West Fork (Sheffield, IA). The Warhawks go into the Corn Bowl outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, West Fork smashed Rockford (Rockford, IA), 67-10, in a league outing.
The Huskies now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Newman Catholic for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 6. Nashua-Plainfield will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 54-27 non-league win over North Butler (Greene, IA). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.
