North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC), 48-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Johnston upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Franklin Academy won 70-22 in their recent non-league bout against Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC)

Next up, the Spartans play the North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Smithfield-Selma will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
