Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers (Madison, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN), 63-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Shawe Memorial upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Hilltoppers host Trimble County (Bedford, KY) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Rebels play the Milan Indians (Milan, IN) in a Ohio River Valley bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Southwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 41-33 non-league win over Indiana Math & Science Academy North (Indianapolis, IN).
