With the victory, Smithville upgrades its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Seminoles host Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS) to play the Eagles in a 1A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Tupelo Christian Prep lost 45-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Houlka (Houlka, MS)

Next up, the Eagles play the Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS) in a 1A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Tremont will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 63-23 non-league win over Myrtle (Myrtle, MS).
