The South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC), 23-15 in Friday's non-league test.
The Sauras (3-1) will now prepare for their test against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, North Surry notched a victory over North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 61-53, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Surry Central for a non-league test on Monday, December 5. West Stokes will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 56-19 non-league win over Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
