Granville Blue Aces (Granville, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Zanesville Blue Devils (Zanesville, OH), 41-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Granville upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Blue Aces host Upper Arlington (Columbus, OH) to play the Golden Bears in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a record of 4-0.

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Utica Redskins (Utica, OH) in a bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Zanesville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
