The Spackenkill Spartans basketball team (Poughkeepsie, NY), was nudged 31-25 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Marlboro Central Dukes (Marlboro, NY)
The Dukes now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 8. Marlboro Central will battle a Huskies team coming off a 59-23 non-league win over New Paltz (New Paltz, NY). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.
The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Rondout Valley (Accord, NY). The Ganders come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Rondout Valley was nudged by Onteora (Boiceville, NY), 31-11, in a non-league battle.
