The Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) basketball felled the visiting Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV), 27-17 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Longhorns go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Battle Mountain thwarted Incline (Incline Village, NV), 38-4, in a non-league test.
