Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) and the visiting Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC), saw Southwest Onslow's basketball squad hold off Richlands by a tally of 39-37.

With the victory, Southwest Onslow improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Stallions host West Carteret (Morehead City, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 7. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. West Carteret won 38-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Havelock (Havelock, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Richlands will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
