Next, the Cardinals confront the Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 7. Cardinal Newman will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Sonoma Valley (Sonoma, CA).

The Trojans now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Piner for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6.
