The West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), 72-38 in Friday's non-league test.
The Colts (2-1) will now prepare for their test against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, North Stanly was trounced by Carolina International (Concord, NC), 45-38, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Uwharrie Charter for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. Albemarle will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 63-20 non-league loss to Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
