The Ayden - Grifton Chargers basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Southside Seahawks to 40 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Chargers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Lenoir for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Ayden - Grifton will battle a Hawks team coming off a 58-12 non-league loss to Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 0-4.
The Seahawks (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against South Creek (Robersonville, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, South Creek triumphed over Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC), 50-29, in a non-league contest.
