The Rustburg Red Devils basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Buckingham Knights to 30 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Friday.
The Red Devils now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to William Campbell for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 7.
The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Fluvanna County triumphed over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA), 43-23, in a non-league contest.
