North Carolina High School Basketball - West Lincoln knocked off by Cherryville

December 2, 2022: Cherryville, NC 28021

The Cherryville Ironmen basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting West Lincoln Rebels to 40 in the Ironmen non-league triumph on Friday.

The Ironmen now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chase for a non-league contest on Monday, December 5. Cherryville will meet a Trojans team coming off a 46-40 non-league loss to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-2.

The Rebels (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Avery County (Newland, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Avery County was outscored by Watauga (Boone, NC), 63-32, in a non-league contest.
