Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Courtland Cougars (Spotsylvania, VA), 38-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Massaponax upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Chancellor lost 50-47 in their recent non-league bout against Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Mountain View Wildcats (Stafford, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Courtland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
