Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Jamestown Eagles (Williamsburg, VA), 57-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Grafton upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Clippers travel to Poquoson (Poquoson, VA) to clash with the Islanders in a non-league bout on Monday, December 5. The Islanders go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Poquoson lost 64-26 in their recent non-league bout against Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the York Falcons (Yorktown, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Jamestown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 41-39 non-league win over Tabb (Yorktown, VA).
