In Friday's non-league outing, the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), by a margin of 77-18.
The Mavericks (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Providence was trounced by Weddington (Matthews, NC), 33-30, in a non-league outing.
The Wolf Pack now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Piedmont for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 6. Parkwood will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 24-19 non-league win over Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
