North Carolina High School Basketball - Patrick County knocked off by North Stokes

The North Stokes Vikings basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Patrick County Cougars to 45 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host McMichael for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. North Stokes will meet a Phoenix team coming off a 39-30 non-league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA). The Phoenix record now stands at 0-5.
The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Staunton River ran past Liberty (Bedford, VA), 56-36, in a non-league contest.
