The Smithfield Packers basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Warhill Lions to 21 in the Packers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Packers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Kent for a non-league match on Friday, December 9.
With the defeat, Warhill moves to 1-1 on the year. The Lions host Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA) to face the Rams in a non-league match on Monday, December 5. The Rams enter the match with a record of 1-1. Lafayette won 64-26 in their recent non-league match against Poquoson (Poquoson, VA)
