The Aransas Pass Panthers basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Zapata Hawks to 40 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kountze for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Aransas Pass will battle a Lions team coming off a 57-38 non-league win over Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX). The Lions record now stands at 8-1.
The Hawks (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against San Diego (San Diego, TX). The Vaqueros enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, San Diego triumphed over Ingleside (Ingleside, TX), 56-53, in a non-league contest.
