Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Ticonderoga Sentinels (Ticonderoga, NY), 67-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Boquet Valley upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Griffins host Chazy (Chazy, NY) to play the Eagles in a Section 7 Mountain Valley bout on Thursday, December 7. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Chazy lost 51-33 in their recent non-league bout against Chateaugay (Chateaugay, NY)

Next up, the Sentinels play the Whitehall Railroaders (Whitehall, NY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Ticonderoga will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Railroaders come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 66-60 non-league win over Crown Point (Crown Point, NY).
