The Pinckneyville Panthers knocked off the host Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians basketball squad by a margin of 51-43 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Frankfort (West Frankfort, IL). The Redbirds go into the Southern Illinois River-to-River - Mississippi test with a 4-2 record.
The Indians/Lady Indians now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chester for a Cahokia - Illinois test on Tuesday, December 5. Carlyle will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 44-38 non-league loss to Carmi-White County (Carmi, IL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-3.
