The Collinsville Panthers basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Valley Head Tigers to 36 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Bluff for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Collinsville will battle a Tigers team coming off a 59-53 non-league loss to Coosa (Rome, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-6.
The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Oakwood Academy (Huntsville, AL). The Mustangs enter the 1A Area 15 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Oakwood Academy triumphed over Skyline (Scottsboro, AL), 58-57, in a league contest.
