University City Lions (St. Louis, MO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Confluence Prep Academy (St. Louis, MO), 57-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, University City upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Lions host Parkway West (Ballwin, MO) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Parkway West won 50-41 in their recent non-league bout against Parkway South (Manchester, MO)

Next up, the play the Normandy Vikings (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Confluence Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 70-40 non-league loss to East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL).
