In Saturday's league outing, the Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men Knights (Houston, TX) basketball squad nipped the visiting Furr Brahmans (Houston, TX), by a margin of 45-41.

The Knights (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Milby (Houston, TX). The Buffs go into the non-league outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Milby was tipped by Madison (Houston, TX), 95-49, in a league outing.

The Brahmans now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Bend Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 6. Furr will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 53-36 non-league win over Lutheran South Academy (Houston, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-6.
