The Wheeler Eagles basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Kossuth Aggies to 51 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tremont for a 1A Region 1 contest on Tuesday, December 5. Wheeler will meet a Eagles team coming off a 58-49 non-league loss to Smithville (Smithville, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.

The Aggies (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against New Site (New Site, MS). The Royals enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, New Site was routed by Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS), 64-59, in a non-league contest.
