North Side Gators (Shelby, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Leland Cubs (Leland, MS), 56-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Side upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Gators travel to Greenville (Greenville, MS) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Greenville lost 61-39 in their recent non-league bout against Coahoma County (Clarksdale, MS)

Next up, the Cubs play the Charleston Tigers (Charleston, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Leland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
