Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones (Springfield, IL), 38-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Railsplitters travel to Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a Central State Eight bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Springfield Southeast lost 59-48 in their recent league bout against Rochester (Rochester, IL)

Next up, the Cyclones clash with the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL) in a Central State Eight bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Sacred Heart-Griffin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 56-53 league loss to Lanphier (Springfield, IL).
