Ouachita Warriors (Donaldson, AR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Magnet Cove Panthers (Malvern, AR), 47-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ouachita upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Warriors travel to Junction City (Junction City, AR) to play the Dragons in a 2A Region 8 bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Poyen Indians (Poyen, AR) in a 2A Region 5 game, on Tuesday, December 5. Magnet Cove will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 3-4 record after their 69-41 non-league loss to Harmony Grove (Benton, AR).
