The South Greene Rebels basketball team scored 86 points and held the visiting North Greene Huskies to 49 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Rebels now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnson County for a 2A District 1 contest on Tuesday, December 5. South Greene will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 67-59 non-league loss to Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-2.

The Huskies (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cherokee (Rogersville, TN). The Chiefs enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Cherokee was routed by Volunteer (Church Hill, TN), 70-48, in a league contest.
