Texas High School Basketball - Taft trounces Premont

The Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Premont Cowboys (Premont, TX), 107-34 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Greyhounds (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Lasara (Lasara, TX). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Lasara walloped Banquete (Banquete, TX), 57-54, in a non-league test.

The Cowboys now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to San Isidro for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Premont will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 52-51 non-league loss to IDEA Quest College Prep (Edinburg, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-7.
