Kentucky High School Basketball - West Carter overwhelmed by Russell

The Russell Red Devils basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the host West Carter Comets to 42 in the Red Devils non-league victory on Saturday.

The Red Devils now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rowan County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Russell will battle a Vikings team coming off a 71-57 non-league loss to Woodward (Cincinnati, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 2-1.

The Comets (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rose Hill Christian (Ashland, KY). The Royals come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
