    The Thomas Jefferson Gryphons basketball team (Mooresboro, NC), was overwhelmed 72-43 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC)

    The Warriors now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Butler for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 5. Weddington will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 65-61 non-league loss to Powdersville (Greenville, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.

    The Gryphons (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Owen (Black Mountain, NC). The Warhorses come into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record.
