Texas High School Basketball - Bishop fells United

Bishop Badgers (Bishop, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host United Longhorns (Laredo, TX), 68-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bishop upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Badgers travel to United South (Laredo, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-5. United South won 53-37 in their recent non-league bout against Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX)

Next up, the Longhorns play the Harlingen Cardinals (Harlingen, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. United will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 47-41 non-league win over Brackenridge (San Antonio, TX).
