The Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves basketball team (Lansing, IL), was nudged 39-36 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL)

The Blazing Trojan now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thornwood for a Southland battle on Monday, December 4. Bloom will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 70-23 non-league loss to Marist (Chicago, IL). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-5.

The Red Wolves (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Argo (Summit, IL). The Argonauts come into the South Suburban - Red battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Argo was nudged by Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL), 56-36, in a league battle.
