The Brackett Tigers basketball team scored 40 points and held the host La Pryor Bulldogs to 37 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Utopia for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Brackett will meet a Buffaloes team coming off a 41-34 non-league loss to Sabinal (Sabinal, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 1-7.

The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cotulla (Cotulla, TX). The Cowboys enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Cotulla was nudged by Lanier (San Antonio, TX), 41-31, in a non-league contest.
