The Greenbrier East Spartans basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Bridgeport Indians to 53 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 4. Greenbrier East will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
With the defeat, Bridgeport moves to 0-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Lewis County (Weston, WV) to meet the Minutemen in a non-league match on Thursday, December 7. The Minutemen enter the match with a record of 2-0. Lewis County won 78-71 in their recent league match against North Marion (Farmington, WV)
