The Edna Karr Cougars basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Mt. Carmel Cubs to 41 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Amant for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Edna Karr will battle a Gators team coming off a 62-59 non-league loss to Brusly (Brusly, LA). The Gators record now stands at 5-2.

The Cubs (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record.
