Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL), 59-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hononegah upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL) to play the Titans in a Northern Illinois 10 bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Boylan Catholic won 59-35 in their recent league bout against Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL)

Next up, the Pretzels play the Harlem Huskies (Machesney Park, IL) in a Northern Illinois 10 bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Freeport will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 48-37 non-league win over Winnebago (Winnebago, IL).
